Interlobular septal thickening can be associated with thickening of the intralobular interstitium (see Chapter 1), which results in a fine network of lines within lobules. Management In the setting of a history of neutropenia, a prompt diagnosis is essential. Medications, such as dopamine agonists (bromocriptine, cabergoline) and somatostatin analogs (octreotide, lanreotide) are rarely helpful in the treatment of nonfunctioning pituitary tumors.
